There is plenty of time to be careful about that for which we pray; this month perhaps we might just indulge the Dream-maker just a little. Who knows what might be envisioned?

I really liked this week’s sermon and wonder if we may need to move beyond focusing on an individual’s talents or path to supporting a larger social movement within the church whose moral potential can change institutions, the environment, and individual lives for the better.

I think that’s absolutely right. It seems like a logical – and historical – next step: if one person is freed and supported in their “ministry,” I wonder what might happen if a group got that idea in their head! Hey, that might be us.
